We offer fun Islamic teaching once a week, during term time, for children, starting from the term after they turn 3 all the way through until 17. There is an Eid celebration at Eid-ul Fitr, a performance by the children at Eid-ul-Adha (holidays permitting), and an end of year presentation for the children. Parents are welcome to settle their young child, help at the celebration and attend the performance.

Classes are held on Tuesdays, for 60minutes (4.30-5.30pm) for the youngest children (age 3-5) and 90 minutes (4.30-6.00pm) for those in Year 1 and above. In Ramadan, the second session runs from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.

There are currently five classes. Boys and girls are welcome in each class. New children are welcome to join at the start of each term. A maximum of 15 are in any one class, except the youngest class which has a maximum of 18 and an adult-child ratio of at least 1:8.

The classes are in the following year groups:

• Age 3 - reception class
• Year 1 (ability to read and write English essential for this class upwards)
• Year 2
• Years 3-4
• Years 5-6
• Year 7-9
• year 10+
